How Consent Is Collected
1. The user opens `Settings -> Alerts -> Text Message Alert Copies` inside the Hashboard web app.
2. `Text Message Alert Copies` is off by default.
3. The user enables `Text Message Alert Copies`.
4. The user enters their phone number in international format.
5. The app displays the disclosure text:
`By requesting a verification code, you agree to receive transactional Hashboard alert texts at the number you enter. Standard message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.`
6. The user taps `Send Verification Code`.
7. Hashboard sends a 6-digit verification code by SMS.
8. The user enters the 6-digit code and taps `Verify Phone Number`.
9. Only after successful verification does Hashboard send SMS text message alert copies to that number.
Message Types Sent
Hashboard sends only transactional operational alerts. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.
Supported SMS text message alert copies:
- Global worker change
- ASIC temp
- VR temp
- Max temp
- Miner inactivity
- Fallback pool active
- Block found
Opt-Out
The user can disable SMS alerts at any time in `Settings -> Alerts -> Text Message Alert Copies`.
Users can also reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS messages.
